"To save souls, we must be holy: God does not use dirty tools." —Venerable Bishop Fulton Sheen
What is Immaculate Heart and First Saturday Devotion?
The observance of the First Saturday in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is intended to make reparation to it for the sins of mankind. This devotion was revealed by the Blessed Virgin to the (3) three children; Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia to whom she appeared at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.
In addition, they were asked by the BVM, to come back on the same time (noon) of every 13th of 6-consecutive months. Before the apparition of Our Lady happens, an angel appeared first to the three children in 1916 of Spring, and told them how to pray fervently.
On June 13, 1917, Our Lady specifically stated in speaking to Lucia:
“Jesus wants to make use of you to make me known and loved. He wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.”
As what was absolutely necessary for the triumph announced at Fatima, Sister Lucia, who received the messages of Our Lady of Fatima, said there were (3) three things to be done:
These (3) three conditions were formulated with Sister Lucia into a “Pledge” which the Bishop of Fatima authorized to be promoted as the authentic message of Fatima. More than 25 million Catholics around the world have made this basic pledge.
Our Lady repeated this in July 13th apparition when, after the vision of Hell that was granted to the (3) three children, she said:
“You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.”
Our Lady asks for reparation.
“There are so many souls whom the Justice of God condemns for sins committed against me, that I have come to ask reparation;”
Reparation to this Heart for the sins of mankind, in particular the (5) five kinds of offenses and blasphemies against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, namely:
The following First Saturday devotions are efficacious in honoring the Immaculate Heart of Mary: (See our First Saturday Devotion Prayer Guides for your reference in completing the 5-consecutive First Saturday Devotion)
Our Blessed Mother said:
“I promise to help at the hour of death, with the graces needed for salvation, whoever on the First Saturday of (5) five consecutive months shall:
As a Family Traditional & Rosary Movement, we strongly believe that the Message of Our Lady in Fatima should not be set aside. Perhaps, we need to take it seriously and pay attention especially to the warnings mentioned by Our Lady. And by paying attention, perhaps, we badly need conversion of sinners.
These massive destruction, confusion and annihilation are the results of people's turning their back from God. The Sacredness of our Traditions particularly the Church's Teachings are now fading and thus, became liberal in a sense of "modernized" and "emotion-based" or more focused in the way we "feel" and not preaching the hard truths.
This is the real message of Our Lady in Fatima: The answer to all of these mess and wars are all in the Catholic Church's Sacred Traditions, Sacred Scriptures and The Magisterium. Enough for emotions! Time for TRUTH ALONE.

What is the Sacred Heart and First Friday Devotion?
Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, came about through the visions and experiences of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, given to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in France during the Seventeenth Century. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is pointing to something further. He focuses our attention not simply on His burning love for us, but also on those instances where He has been neglected by us. Neglected, as by His disciples when they fell asleep as He suffered in agony, whilst praying in the garden of Gethsemane.
Neglected by us, in that we have forgotten the enormity of that which He has bestowed upon us. Because, through the institution of the Eucharist and His dying for us on the cross, He has given everything and we are unaware or even ungrateful. We fail to watch, as His disciples failed. We fail to give homage, through our ingratitude, or rather our forgetfulness. It is now time for us to make some return for all that He has given us. This is the message of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. And of course, this need for acknowledgement and gratitude towards Him is essential for our Salvation. For this return of love is at the Heart of our relationship with Jesus Christ – the One who becoming flesh, brought the Godhead into personal relationship with us. He is our dearest friend and we have ignored Him. How can we do this to Him, Who has given us everything? In our selfishness, we have forgotten Him and this has even led to our disbelief in His wondrous gift of the Eucharist. Through these visions of St. Margaret Mary, He came to remind us of all this. To remind us how much he has given and still gives and how little we give Him in return. And so, in Paray-le-Monial, he came to ask us to practice Devotions, specific Devotions, to His Sacred Heart.
Many years later, Our Lord initially spoke very little about the First Friday. In fact, all He said was:
"Thou shalt, moreover, communicate on the First Friday of each month."
The object of this devotion is to make our Saviour Jesus Christ ardently and perfectly loved, and to make reparation for the outrages offered to Him in the past, as well as for those which He daily receives in the Blessed Eucharist.
On this first Thursday, the Holy Hour is more greatly emphasised and confession is often made, in order to worthily communicate on the First Friday – in a state of grace. Yet whilst the Sacred Heart revealed to St. Margaret Mary His suffering on account of our ingratitude, it is we who suffer most at being separated from Our Divine Lord. It is we who remain in sin, when we are not bathed in the Divine love, issuing forth from the Heart of Our Lord and Saviour.
Therefore, whilst Our Lord pleads with us to make amends, through Reparation to Him, we should remember that, whilst clearly pleasing Him, the effects of Communion and Reparation on the First Friday work to bring us back to Him. They work to bring us back to the source of all life, to the Heart of God, present in the person of Jesus Christ: the Sacred Heart. They work to make amends that will bring us and our fellowmen, back into relationship with our means of salvation; Our loving Friend and God, Jesus Christ. He is hurting because He has given us everything and we have not acknowledged this. We have in fact, turned our backs on Him. Yet He gave us everything, not for Himself, but for us.
